This nationwide event, held every year on the second Saturday of November, reminds consumers of the importance of independent toy stores and the value of shopping within their local community.

“Our members are part of your neighborhood,” said ASTRA President Kathleen McHugh.  “They care about their customers and take the time to help them select just the right toy to help their children grow and learn through play.”

This year, Snickelfritz Toys is proud to be donating a portion of the day’s sales to Helping from Heaven: The Lexi Kazian Foundation.  Visit the store on November 12 for a day of family fun and a chance to start your holiday shopping!  Try many of the season’s hottest toys, games, and crafts as the 2011 Best Toys for Kids award-winners are unveiled.
